Job Responsibilities of an Accounts Executive in Hotel Industry1. Financial Record Keeping

  • Maintain accurate records of daily financial transactions (sales, purchases, expenses, etc.).

  • Record and reconcile revenue from different hotel outlets (rooms, restaurant, bar, spa, banquet hall, etc.).

  • Ensure proper documentation of invoices, vouchers, and receipts.

  • Accounts Payable & Receivable

  • Prepare and process supplier/vendor bills and ensure timely payments.

  • Track accounts receivable from corporate clients, travel agents, and event organizers.

  • Follow up on outstanding payments and reconcile customer accounts.

  • Payroll & Staff Benefits

  • Assist in payroll processing for hotel staff, including salaries, overtime, and incentives.

  • Manage statutory deductions (PF, ESI, TDS, professional tax, etc.).

  • Keep employee reimbursement claims and allowances updated.

  • Bank & Cash Management

  • Handle daily cash and bank transactions, including deposits and withdrawals.

  • Reconcile bank statements with internal financial records.

  • Monitor petty cash and ensure proper authorization for expenses.

  • Financial Reporting

  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly revenue and expense reports.

  • Support the Finance Manager/Chief Accountant in preparing profit & loss statements, balance sheets, and MIS reports.

  • Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.

  • Internal Control & Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with hotel accounting policies, tax regulations, and statutory laws.

  • Support in internal and external audits by providing necessary records.

  • Implement financial control systems to prevent revenue leakage or fraud.

  • Guest Billing & Credit Control

  • Oversee guest folios, billing accuracy, and settlement at check-out.

  • Handle disputes or discrepancies in guest bills.

  • Manage credit facilities for regular corporate clients and travel agencies.

  • Coordination & Support

  • Work closely with Front Office, F&B, Sales, and Banquet teams for billing and revenue entries.

  • Liaise with suppliers and banks for account-related issues.

  • Support management with financial insights for decision-making.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹18, ₹20,000.00 per month
