Shopify Project manager

1. Client Engagement

   Act as the primary point of contact for clients, deeply understanding their business goals and technical needs.

   Build long-term relationships with clients by demonstrating technical expertise and delivering results.

   Translate client requirements into detailed system workflows, technical specifications, and clear tasks for the team.

   Educate clients on Shopify Plus features, no-code/low-code solutions, and industry best practices.

2. Team Management

   Lead and mentor cross-functional teams comprising developers, designers, and QA professionals.

   Delegate tasks effectively, ensuring each team member is clear about their roles and responsibilities.

   Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous learning within the team.

   Provide guidance and support to team members, addressing technical challenges and ensuring the quality of deliverables.

3. Project Planning and Execution

   Design and document end-to-end system workflows, aligning with client objectives and technical feasibility.

   Break down high-level requirements into actionable tasks, assigning them to team members and ensuring clarity.

   Oversee project timelines, budgets, and scope, proactively identifying and resolving bottlenecks.

   Implement agile methodologies to manage sprints, stand-ups, and deliverables.

4. Solution Development

   Leverage Shopify Plus capabilities to design custom solutions that meet client-specific requirements.

   Use no-code/low-code platforms, such as:

       n8n: For workflow automation and integrations.

For creating complex multi-app integrations.

       Glide and Bubble: For building mobile and web applications.

       Airtable and Retool: For database management and app customization.

   Provide technical leadership in designing scalable systems and, if needed, write or review code to address critical tasks.

   Support API integrations, webhooks, and automation workflows to connect various platforms.

5. Technical Leadership

   Act as the technical escalation point, providing hands-on assistance in debugging, optimization, or development.

   Step in to write or debug code when the team faces challenges or project timelines demand quick resolutions.

   Ensure technical solutions are robust, scalable, and adhere to best practices.

   Collaborate with the development team to evaluate new tools, frameworks, or technologies that can improve efficiency.

6. Advanced Database and System Knowledge

   Design and optimize database architectures for relational (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (e.g., MongoDB, Firebase) systems.

   Handle advanced database operations, including:

       Data modeling, query optimization, and performance tuning.

       Complex ETL processes for large-scale data migrations.

   Ensure seamless integration between systems through APIs and efficient database queries.

7. Documentation and Reporting

   Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including workflows, system diagrams, and technical specifications.

   Regularly update stakeholders, including clients and internal teams, on project milestones, risks, and outcomes.

   Prepare detailed post-project analysis reports to capture lessons learned and areas for improvement.

• Proven experience as a project manager, with a strong technical background.
• Hands-on expertise with Shopify Plus, including APIs, customizations, and integrations.
• Proficiency in no-code/low-code tools, such as n8n, , Glide, Bubble, Airtable, Zapier, Retool, and Appgyver.
• Strong knowledge of programming languages (e.g., JavaScript, Python, or similar) for troubleshooting and development.
• Advanced database expertise, including:
• Designing and managing complex databases.
• Query optimization and handling large-scale datasets.
• Familiarity with task management tools (e.g., Trello, Asana, Jira) and agile methodologies.
