About the Role
We are seeking a data-driven CRM Expert to own and optimize customer lifecycle journeys with a strong focus on subscription conversion, activation, and retention. You will be responsible for creating high-performing CRM strategies across email, push, in-app, and other lifecycle channels, specifically tailored for US and UK audiences.
This role requires deep knowledge of subscription funnels, segmentation, behavioral triggers, experimentation, and CRM automation.
Key Responsibilities1. Subscription Conversion & Lifecycle Management
- Build and optimize CRM flows that drive subscription trials, paid conversions, upsells, and renewals.
- Develop and execute lifecycle journeys (onboarding, activation, engagement, churn-prevention).
- Analyze drop-off points and implement strategies to improve funnel efficiency.
2. Campaign Strategy & Execution
- Plan, create, and manage multi-channel CRM campaigns (email, push, SMS, in-app).
- Craft personalized messaging strategies for US/UK audiences based on cultural, behavioral, and market nuances.
- A/B test subject lines, content, triggers, offers, and creative to increase conversion rates.
3. Segmentation & Personalization
- Create advanced segmentation models based on user behavior, subscription lifecycle stage, and LTV potential.
- Implement dynamic and personalized CRM content using customer data and predictive insights.
4. Analytics & Reporting
- Monitor campaign KPIs: conversion rate, trial-to-paid rate, churn %, retention, CLTV, CAC payback.
- Present insights and recommendations to leadership and cross-functional teams.
- Work closely with data/BI teams to maintain accurate dashboards and analytics pipelines.
5. CRM Systems & Automation
- Manage workflows in platforms such as Braze, Klaviyo, HubSpot, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Iterable, or similar.
- Maintain clean CRM architecture, ensuring high data quality and proper event tracking.
- Partner with product and engineering teams to implement triggers, events, and lifecycle automation logic.
Required Qualifications
- 1+ years of CRM / Lifecycle Marketing experience, preferably in subscription-based digital products.
- Proven experience driving subscription conversion in US and/or UK markets.
- Strong understanding of CRM analytics, user behavior, segmentation, and funnel optimization.
- Hands-on experience with CRM platforms (Braze preferred; others considered).
- Ability to write compelling, conversion-focused CRM copy tailored to US/UK audiences.
- Data-driven mindset with experience in A/B testing and statistical interpretation.
- Strong cross-functional collaboration skills (Product, Data, Growth, Engineering).
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with consumer apps, SaaS, or D2C subscription products.
- Working knowledge of SQL or marketing analytics tools.
- Familiarity with retention and revenue metrics (MRR, churn, NPS, LTV models).
- Understanding of GDPR, CAN-SPAM, and privacy best practices.
