Seeking an astute individual that has a strong technical foundation with the additional ability to be hands-on with the broader engineering team as part of the development/deployment cycle, and deep knowledge of industry best practices, with the ability to implement them working with both the platform, and the product teams.

What you'll do:

• Select, build, and optimize classifiers using advanced machine learning techniques.
• Conduct data mining using cutting-edge methods and tools.
• Integrate third-party data sources to enhance the companys datasets when necessary.
• Refine data collection procedures to ensure relevant data is available for analytic systems.
• Process, cleanse, and verify the integrity of data used for analysis.
• Perform ad-hoc analysis and present results clearly to stakeholders.
• Address customer concerns regarding forecasting issues and data quality, and write codes to perform forecasting checks.
• Building custom scripts and logic using advanced ML and AI techniques to solve business problems.

What we are looking for: Must Have:

• Solid understanding of machine learning algorithms (e.g., Linear Regression, K-Means Clustering, Naive Bayes).
• Proficiency in data science toolkits such as Python, NumPy, Pandas, Matplotlib, Seaborn (expertise in at least two is required).
• Experience in LLM, NLP techniques and Neural network.
• Experience in supply chain concepts and statistical analysis.
• Knowledge of operations research concepts, including integer, linear, and stochastic programming.
• Strong critical and operational thinking skills.
• Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Streamlit and Power BI.
• Proficiency in query languages such as SQL and Snowflake, or Python-based SQL wrappers.
• Solid grounding in applied statistics, including distributions, hypothesis testing, and regression analysis.

Preferred:

• Familiarity with Dask/parallel processing, Airflow orchestration tools, Postman/API integration.
• Strong scripting and programming capabilities.
• Data-driven mindset with an eye for detail.

Soft Skills:

• Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with a wide variety of internal personnel with emphasis on follow-through and reporting.
• Ability to work calmly under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Proven background to have managed multiple stakeholders in a global environment.
• Must have strong multi-tasking skills.
• Must be self-motivated and quick learner - New technologies, platforms, integrations.
• Able to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, as warranted by the situation in critical times or to manage customer escalations.

Experience:

• 3 to 6 years of relevant experience.

• OS Unix-RHEL, Windows 2008R2 and above.
• Supply chain products: SCPO (Demand & FF, ESP, Promotions, IO, S&OP).
• RDBMS Oracle 11g and above and SQL/PLSQL 2012 and above, Snowflake.
• BA tools Cognos.
• Interface: SFTP, AS2, DMS, Blue Yonder connect.
• Scripting Perl, Shell, Python is desirable.
