  • Role Summary:

The Junior Accountant
will support the accounting and purchase processes, including
invoice preparation, data entry, purchase order follow-ups, billing verification
, and maintaining vendor and payment records.

The candidate must have
strong Excel skills
and attention to detail to manage daily reporting and documentation.

  • Key Responsibilities:

Accounting:

  • Maintain
    daily accounting entries
    (sales, purchase, expense, journal entries).
  • Assist in
    GST invoices, E-way bills, purchase bills, and payment documentation
    .
  • Verify and reconcile
    vendor bills
    , delivery challans, and goods received notes.
  • Prepare and update
    accounts payable and receivable reports
    .
  • Support monthly
    closing and financial filing activities
    .

Purchase & Vendor Coordination:

  • Create and follow up on
    purchase orders
    with suppliers and vendors.
  • Track and record
    inventory inflow
    materials and invoices.
  • Communicate with suppliers for
    pricing, quotations, and delivery timelines
    .
  • Maintain
    purchase register, vendor database, and stock entry records
    .
  • Coordinate with
    factory store & procurement team
    for material availability.

General Tasks:

  • Maintain proper
    document filing and record management
    .
  • Prepare
    Excel-based reports
    and summaries as required.
  • Support internal audit processes.

Qualifications

  • B.Com / M.Com / BBA / MBA (Finance)
    or equivalent.
  • 1–3 years of experience
    in
    accounts or purchase department
    (manufacturing industry preferred).
  • Must have strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel
    (VLOOKUP, Pivot Table, and Reporting).
  • Knowledge of
    Tally / ERP
    accounting software.
  • Good communication and vendor coordination skills.
  • Accuracy, discipline, and a good sense of responsibility.
