Civil Engineer

Aqua StudioX is seeking a Site Engineer to be based in Hyderabad or Projects in Other States as required.

This position is expected to begin in December.

Qualifications/Minimum Requirements:

• Candidate have a Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering
• Must have two+ years of work experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Basic knowledge of CADD and industry standard computer software for the position (examples include software such as AutoCAD or MicroStation)
• Strong organizational, technical and communication skills
• Ability to work independently or within a team environment

The Site Engineer for Civil Works will be responsible for overseeing all civil construction activities at Aqua StudioX project sites, ensuring work is executed to the highest standards of quality, precision, and professionalism. The Site Engineer must possess comprehensive technical expertise in civil works, including waterproofing, plumbing, and general construction. They are expected to ensure the timely and accurate execution of tasks, maintain strong communication with the project team, and manage site operations with integrity and accountability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Site Supervision and Execution:
• Oversee and manage the day-to-day execution of civil works at the project site, ensuring strict adherence to design specifications, construction methods, and quality standards.
• Coordinate with the construction team to ensure smooth workflow and resolution of any site-related challenges.
• Ensure all work is completed according to the approved plans, schedules, and applicable safety and regulatory standards.
• Technical Expertise:
• Provide expert guidance on civil construction techniques, with specific knowledge in waterproofing, plumbing, and other related construction practices.
• Ensure the proper installation of waterproofing systems and plumbing infrastructure in accordance with the project requirements.
• Monitor and ensure the correct implementation of structural reinforcement, material usage, and site preparation.
• Quality Control and Documentation:
• Monitor the quality of workmanship on-site, ensuring all tasks meet Aqua StudioX's high standards.
• Document and report daily site progress with photos and detailed updates, highlighting completed tasks and any deviations or issues faced.
• Prepare and maintain comprehensive records, including site reports, material inspections, and change orders.
• Communication and Coordination:
• Act as the primary point of contact for all civil-related matters on the site, communicating clearly with both internal teams and external contractors.
• Ensure seamless coordination between design, engineering, and construction teams to resolve any discrepancies and implement design modifications as needed.
• Communicate any technical issues or concerns promptly to the project manager, senior engineers, or other relevant stakeholders.
• Project Compliance and Integrity:
• Uphold Aqua StudioX's standards of professionalism, punctuality, and integrity in all aspects of the job.
• Ensure compliance with all local building codes, safety regulations, and environmental guidelines.
• Maintain transparency and honesty in all reporting, addressing any challenges or setbacks directly and with clarity.
• Reporting and Accountability:
• Provide regular updates to senior management and the project team on site progress, issues, and milestones achieved.
• Report any discrepancies, delays, or challenges encountered on-site, offering solutions where applicable.
• Ensure that all work on-site adheres to project timelines, budgets, and design specifications.
• Site Safety and Organization:
• Maintain a safe working environment by ensuring that all safety protocols are strictly followed.
• Ensure the site is organized and materials are stored properly to prevent hazards and ensure efficient workflow.
• Conduct periodic checks to ensure compliance with site safety regulations.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Technical Skills: Strong expertise in civil works, including plumbing and waterproofing systems. Experience in structural reinforcement, material selection, and construction methodologies.
• Professionalism: Must display excellent communication skills, a high level of integrity, and a punctual, responsible attitude in all aspects of site management.
• Attention to Detail: Must have a keen eye for precision in execution and reporting, ensuring work is completed to the highest standards.
• Problem Solving: Ability to quickly address issues on-site and propose effective solutions to challenges faced during execution.
• Experience: Minimum 3-4 years of experience in overseeing civil works, with specific expertise in waterproofing and plumbing on high-end residential or commercial projects.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹25, ₹30,000.00 per month
