About the Role :

We are looking for a
detail-oriented and analytically driven Inventory Manager – Finance & Operations

to manage and optimize end-to-end inventory across Anveshan's supply network — including the Mother Warehouse, CFAs, and online marketplaces (Amazon, Flipkart, etc.).

The role requires a strong command over both
financial reconciliation and operational accuracy

, ensuring real-time visibility, timely GRN closure, and complete synchronization of inventory data across systems.

Key Responsibilities :

Inventory Governance & Control

• Manage and reconcile inventory across
  Mother Warehouse, CFAs, D2C, and marketplace fulfilment centers

.
- Ensure
100% GRN (Goods Receipt Note) closure

for all inbound materials
- Track, validate, and close
in-transit inventory movements

before month-end financial closing.
- Conduct
monthly and quarterly stock reconciliations

between ERP, WMS, and partner systems.
- Lead
root cause analysis

for variances and drive corrective actions across functions.

Inventory Optimization & SKU Management

• Drive
  inventory optimization

through demand analysis, reorder level planning, and slow-moving SKU identification.
- Collaborate with procurement and category teams to
rationalize SKU portfolio

and maintain healthy stock turns.
- Manage
creation of new SKUs

in ERP and ensure correct mapping across platforms (ERP, marketplaces, WMS, Shopify, etc.).
- Monitor
SKU-level stock performance

, suggest liquidation or replenishment actions, and reduce dead stock exposure.
- Partner with planning teams to balance inventory availability with working capital efficiency.

Financial Integration & Compliance

• Ensure all stock movements (inter-warehouse, returns, rejections, transfers) are
  accurately recorded and reconciled

within the accounting period.
- Support
month-end inventory valuation, provisioning, and audit readiness

for internal and statutory reviews.
- Maintain
zero-gap reconciliation

between financial books and operational stock reports.
- Track and report key financial inventory metrics –
holding days, ageing, and stock-to-sale ratio

System Integration & Data Sync

• Oversee
  real-time inventory sync

across ERP, marketplace panels (Amazon, Flipkart), and WMS systems.
- Identify and resolve data mismatches between platforms; implement automated checks where possible.
- Collaborate with tech/IT teams for system enhancements to improve visibility and reporting accuracy.
- Maintain
master data hygiene

for SKUs, UOMs, and warehouse locations.

Process & Performance Management

• Develop and maintain
  inventory tracking dashboards

highlighting GRN status, in-transit items, and stock variances.
- Conduct
periodic cycle counts

and drive operational discipline at all storage locations.
- Standardize
SOPs for inventory control, SKU onboarding, and reconciliation

across the network.
- Engage cross-functionally with operations, logistics, finance, and category teams for alignment and governance.

Requirements :

• 4–7 years of experience in
  inventory management, supply chain finance, or operations control

(FMCG/F&B preferred).
- Strong knowledge of
inventory accounting, SKU lifecycle management, and ERP/WMS tools (e.g., Zoho, Unicommerce, EasyEcom or similar)

- High proficiency in
Excel and reconciliation dashboards

; experience with system integrations preferred.
- Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret data for operational and financial decision-making.
- Excellent communication, coordination, and stakeholder management capabilities.
