Library Attendant
to support the smooth functioning of the campus library and provide quality service to students and faculty.

Position
:
Library Attendant

Location: NSHM Knowledge Campus, Durgapur

Employment Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in daily library operations including shelving, circulation, and maintaining     library materials.

• Support users in locating books and resources.

• Ensure cleanliness, orderliness, and proper arrangement of library spaces.

• Help with book issuance, returns, and membership support.

• Provide basic technical and administrative support to the library team.

• Assist during library events, orientations, and activities.

Essential Qualifications:

• Minimum 10+2 (Higher Secondary) pass.

• Basic computer knowledge preferred (MS Office).

• Good communication and service-oriented attitude.

• Previous experience in a library setup is an added advantage.

Desirable Qualification:

Certificate in Library Science (C.Lib./CLIS) or Certificate Course in Library & Information Science from a recognized institution.

Skills Required:

• Organizational and record-keeping skills.

• Ability to interact politely with students, staff, and visitors.

• Attention to detail and willingness to learn.

• Physical ability to handle books and library equipment.
