Role Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically strong Consolidation Senior Accountant to join our global finance team in Bangalore. This role will support the preparation of consolidated financial statements and group reporting packages across multiple jurisdictions, ensuring compliance with IFRS and internal policies. The ideal candidate will have 4–5 years of experience in financial reporting and consolidation, with strong analytical skills, advanced MS Excel skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities

Group Consolidation & Reporting

· Assist in the monthly, quarterly, and annual consolidation of financial statements

· Prepare consolidated reporting packs for internal and external stakeholders.

· Ensure compliance with IFRS and group accounting policies.

· Support the preparation of Management Discussion & Analysis (MD&A) and other reporting deliverables.

· Support in preparing technical accounting memos for ad-hoc projects

Accounting Operations

· Review trial balances and financial submissions from local entities for accuracy and completeness.

· Perform intercompany eliminations and consolidation adjustments.

· Reconcile consolidated balance sheet and income statement accounts.

· Assist with variance analysis and commentary on consolidated results.

Audit & Controls

· Support external audits by preparing schedules, responding to queries, and coordinating with local finance teams.

· Ensure adherence to internal controls and group accounting procedures.

· Maintain documentation for consolidation processes and accounting treatments.

Systems & Process Improvement

· Work with ERP and consolidation tools to streamline reporting processes.

· Support automation initiatives and contribute to process improvement projects.

Qualifications & Skills

· Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field.

· Professional qualification (CA, ACCA) preferred or in progress (final stage).

· 4–5 years of experience in financial reporting and consolidation, preferably in a multinational environment.

· Strong understanding of IFRS and group reporting principles.

· Proficiency in Excel and experience with ERP/consolidation systems.

· Strong logical, analytical, organisational, and communication skills.

· Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
