About the role:

The Legal Manager will be responsible for leading the legal function, overseeing two junior team

members, and acting as the key point of contact for all legal matters across the company. This

includes contracts, corporate secretarial work, employment law, IP/trademarks, and data privacy

Key Responsibilities:

Contract Negotiations:
Draft, review, and negotiate contracts with domestic and

international customers, vendors, and partners; Additionally, manage a contract repository,

ensuring efficient contract lifecycle management and organizational compliance.

Corporate Secretarial:
Manage corporate governance, board matters, statutory filings, and

compliance under Companies Act and related regulations.

Intellectual Property:
Oversee management of IP portfolio, including trademarks, copyrights,

and liaison with IP advisors.

Data Privacy and Protection:
Ensure compliance with Indian and international data protection

laws, advise on privacy risks, and manage internal policies.

Employment Law and HR Support:
Advise on employee matters, employment contracts,

disciplinary issues, and POSH compliance.

Risk and Compliance: Develop and monitor internal compliance policies and ensure alignment

with applicable laws.

●

Team Leadership:
Manage and mentor two junior legal team members and coordinate with

external legal counsel when required.

Background and Experience:

● LL.B. with 6–12 years of post-qualification experience, preferably in a corporate/in-house legal role.

● Strong exposure to commercial contracts, employment law, and corporate governance.

● Ability to operate independently as the head of the legal function.

● Excellent drafting, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
