Staff Nurse For CCU

1. Patient Care:

2. Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for critically ill patients.

3. Monitor vital signs, ECG, oxygen saturation, intake/output, and consciousness level.
4. Administer medications and infusions per physician's orders.
5. Manage medical devices (monitors, ventilators, infusion pumps, etc.).

6. Maintain accurate and timely documentation.

7. Emergency Management:

8. Recognize and respond to medical emergencies (e.g., cardiac arrest, shock).

9. Assist in resuscitation and code blue situations.

10. Follow ACLS/BLS protocols when necessary.

11. Communication & Coordination:

12. Provide clear handovers using tools like SBAR.

13. Communicate effectively with physicians, respiratory therapists, and other team members.

14. Provide emotional support and information to patient families.

15. Infection Control & Safety:

16. Adhere strictly to infection control practices and PPE use.

17. Maintain cleanliness and aseptic techniques in the unit.

18. Education & Compliance:

19. Participate in regular training, audits, and clinical evaluations.

20. Adhere to hospital policies, procedures, and ethical standards.

21. Team Support:

22. Assist colleagues during emergencies or procedures.

23. Supervise junior staff, nursing students, or trainees if needed.
