Job Purpose: The E&I Maintenance Planner is responsible for developing and maintaining detailed plans and schedules for routine and preventive maintenance activities, ensuring minimal disruption to plant operations. This role involves coordinating major and minor shutdowns, monitoring equipment reliability, managing spare parts inventory, and ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards. The planner also drives continuous improvement and innovation in maintenance processes while managing costs and budgeting effectively.
ResponsibilitiesMaintenance Planning and Scheduling:
Develop and maintain detailed plans and schedules for routine and preventive maintenance activities, ensuring alignment with plant operational requirements and minimizing disruptions.
Coordinate with various departments to schedule maintenance tasks and allocate resources efficiently.
Shutdown Planning and Execution:
Plan and coordinate major and minor shutdowns, ensuring that all maintenance activities are completed within the planned timeframe and with minimal impact on production.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure readiness and effective execution of shutdown plans.
Reliability and Performance Monitoring:
Monitor and analyze equipment reliability and performance data, including CBM (Continuous Basis Monitoring), RCFA (Root Cause Failure Analysis), and FMEA (Failure Modes and Effects Analysis) reports.
Use data to identify trends, forecast maintenance needs, and implement strategies to enhance equipment reliability.
Spare Parts and Inventory Management:
Oversee the management of spare parts inventory, ensuring availability of critical components and optimizing inventory levels to prevent shortages and excess stock.
Generate and track requisitions for spare parts based on compiled data from stakeholders and historical usage.
Coordination with Maintenance Teams:
Liaise with maintenance teams to ensure that job planning aligns with operational priorities and resource availability.
Support the execution of maintenance activities by providing detailed job plans, schedules, and required materials.
Compliance and Documentation:
Ensure all maintenance planning activities comply with legal, regulatory, and company standards, including safety, health, and environmental requirements.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of maintenance plans, schedules, and inventory records.
Continuous Improvement and Innovation:
Evaluate and implement best practices and innovative approaches in maintenance planning to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance maintenance processes and procedures.
Cost Management and Budgeting:
Monitor maintenance costs and work within budget constraints, optimizing resource use and minimizing expenses.
Prepare and manage maintenance budgets, tracking expenditures and providing regular reports to the E&I Maintenance Head.

QualificationsEducation Qualification:
BE in Electrical Engineering or Electronics Engineering.
Work Experience:
5+ years of experience in maintenance planning within an industrial environment, with a strong background in planning, scheduling, and resource allocation.
Industry Knowledge:
Proficient in maintenance planning techniques, including CBM, RCFA, and FMEA. Extensive knowledge of spare parts management, compliance standards, and cost management within an industrial setting.
