ROLE PURPOSE

This is a dual-stream QC role. Confio products require strict quality control across the full lifecycle — R&D validation, electronic component quality, manufacturing processes, packaging, dispatch quality, and customer-return analysis.

Candidates may specialise in either Electronic QC or Process & Dispatch QC, and will be assigned based on skill fit.

TRACK A — ELECTRONIC QC (R&D + PRODUCT READINESS)

  1. R&D & Product Readiness Checks

  2. Validate prototypes for stability, firmware behaviour, wireless performance, and thermal limits.

  3. Confirm BOM accuracy and component quality.

  4. Flag design issues and coordinate closure with R&D.

  5. Electronic Component & PCB Quality

  6. Inspect PCBAs, soldering, SMT, relays, connectors, and sensors.

  7. Perform electrical tests: continuity, load, stress, voltage, leakage.

  8. Approve or reject component lots.

  9. Functional Testing & Validation

  10. Test Zigbee/Z-Wave/KNX/RS485/Wi-Fi devices.

  11. Validate firmware builds and ensure no regressions.

  12. Maintain QC testing procedures.

  13. Technical RCA (Returns)

  14. Analyse defective units.

  15. Identify root causes and recommend corrective actions.

  16. Manual & Documentation Verification

  17. Validate wiring diagrams, specs, pinouts, and installation guides.

TRACK B — PROCESS & DISPATCH QC (SUPPLY + PACKAGING + LOGISTICS)

  1. Incoming Material QC

  2. Inspect housings, cables, connectors, packaging materials.

  3. Approve or reject supplier batches.

  4. In-Process Quality

  5. Check wiring, connector fit, enclosure fitting, assembly discipline.

  6. Verify FIFO, storage, labelling, and ESD control.

  7. Packaging & Dispatch QC

  8. Verify product quantity, foam fitting, stickers, manuals, and labels.

  9. Inspect box strength, taping, and shock protection.

  10. Logistics Quality

  11. Check courier handling, fragile SOP adherence, and transit conditions.

  12. RCA (Non-Technical Returns)

  13. Analyse packing damage, missing items, cosmetic defects.

  14. Suggest process improvements.

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

  • Diploma / BE in Electronics, Electrical, Manufacturing, or related fields
  • Strong observation, documentation, and QC discipline
  • Experience in electronics QC or process/logistics QC preferred
  • Familiarity with testing tools is a plus for Electronic QC
  • Experience with warehouse QC and packaging QC is a plus for Process QC
