Role and Responsibilities:
The role holder will be responsible for building and implementing the enterprise-level retail strategy, and concept around outlets for better product mix representation. Responsible for the overall management of the retail business by ensuring that both the operational and commercial sides run smoothly.
  • To drive the enterprise vision for retail through strategic planning, operational management, and good leadership of people. Create long- and short-term product sales forecasts and analysis for management.
  • Maximize profitability by exceeding store sales plan, and KPI goals and driving store sales targets for the team.
  • Analyze current and future outlet sales trends, proactively identifying business opportunities to improve sales metrics
  • Build, coach, manage, and develop teams from a staffing, interviewing, hiring, and training standpoint.
  • Becoming a merchandiser extraordinaire Shelves should be stocked and attractive, priced correctly, and displayed in a safe manner
  • Build the concept, Implement across outlets, Manage and oversee store merchandising, and responsible for maintaining store look and feel in a compelling and exciting manner, while in accordance with company directives
  • Consistently ensuring the outlet is fully stocked with merchandise, managing inventory levels, and product flow
  • Maintain procurement processes for all outlets related to Retail.
  • Overseeing retail inventories and ensuring minimum deviations.
  • Directly recruit, hire, and develop the store team to success, coaching staff through consistent feedback to create a team of strong brand ambassadors with excellent customer service via regular on-floor visits and periodic engagement.
  • Work on strategic vendor collaborations.
  • Drive brand awareness and brand advocacy to exceed projected goals to include teaming up with partners to raise awareness across the regions.
  • Ensure competent market analysis and insights to contribute towards business strategy
  • Cross-functional collaborations with Enterprise marketing, and operations team to engage with existing clientele.
  • Working with the Marketing team to plan out the retail marketing strategy and how to acquire new clients
  • Developing Training content and conducting training workshops for teams followed by assessments.
  • To provide leadership to all areas of the Academy so that it is able to deliver well-rounded growth across all categories of the course

Candidate Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you should have:
  • 12 years + of experience in managing the Spa, Salon, or wellness industry
  • Graduate / MBA
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Comfortable communicating with partners at all levels, both internal and external.
  • Builds trust and confidence by utilizing effective collaboration and coordination skills and competencies.
  • Strong background in analyzing the competition and adapting strategies and tactics in the marketplace.
  • Strong organizational and leadership skills and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Retail know-how with hands-on experience managing all aspects of retail.
  • A solid track record in talent management- recruiting, hiring, development
  • Demonstrated track record of improving sales figures and KPI achievements
  • Experience in managing Microsoft Suite - Presentations, Excel, Outlook, and more
