Applications Manager: Enersul LP

The Applications Manager will be a key member of the sales group.  The successful candidate will develop an excellent understanding of Enersul's technologies/equipment and build excellent relationships with new and existing customers. 

The strategic goals of the position include, but are not limited to:

  • ·Taking the lead role to evaluate inquiries and develop technical/commercial proposals, cost estimates and ultimately obtain the purchase order from the customer
  • ·Participating in technical reviews with the client's EPC or technical group
  • ·Developing and maintaining lasting relationships with key clients
  • ·Forecasting sales, finding and qualifying potential customers to grow the suspect/prospect funnel
  • Identifying and developing innovative offerings to meet our customers' growing needs
  • ·Developing and implementing plans to ensure Enersul is branded in appropriate market segments
  • Working with the project team to manage customer expectations during project delivery
  • Leading projects as project manager if required
  • ·Representing Enersul in relevant industry organizations, tradeshows and conferences
Skills and Requirements
  • Technical background – Engineering Degree
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in a technical sales role in related industries such as oil & gas, manufacturing and machinery design
  • Solid understanding of design, bid preparation and sales
  • Project management experience is an asset
  • Domestic and international travel will be required
