Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Overman at Ideal Indus Explosil Limited. The position is based in Jharia. The Overman will be responsible for overseeing daily mining operations, ensuring mine safety, and implementing mine plans. The role includes collaborating with engineers and geologists, managing budgets, and ensuring compliance with regulations. The Overman will also contribute to strategic planning and resource management within the mining site.
Qualifications
- Skills in Mine Planning and Mining Engineering
- Expertise in Mine Safety practices and regulations
- Knowledge in Budgeting and financial management
- Understanding of Geology related to mining operations
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work onsite in Jharia
- Bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering or related field
- Previous experience in a mining or similar industry is preferred
