Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced and visionary Azure DataOps Architect to lead the design and implementation of scalable, secure, and automated data operations on Microsoft Azure. This role will be instrumental in defining DataOps strategy, architecting end-to-end data pipelines, and enabling agile data delivery across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Architect and implement DataOps frameworks and solutions using Azure cloud services.
Design scalable and secure data pipelines using Azure Data Factory, Synapse Analytics, Azure Databricks, and other Azure components.
Lead the development of CI/CD pipelines for data workflows using Azure DevOps.
Define and enforce best practices for data governance, quality, and observability.
Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and business teams to align data architecture with business goals.
Evaluate and integrate new tools and technologies to enhance the DataOps ecosystem.
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to data engineering teams.
Ensure compliance with enterprise security, privacy, and regulatory requirements.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
8+ years of experience in data engineering or architecture, with at least 3 years in Azure.
Deep expertise in Azure services: Data Factory, Synapse, Databricks, Azure SQL, Blob Storage, and Azure DevOps.
Strong understanding of DataOps principles, agile methodologies, and DevSecOps.
Experience with infrastructure as code (Terraform, Bicep, ARM templates).
Proficiency in scripting (Python, PowerShell) and SQL.
Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Azure certifications (e.g., Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Azure Data Engineer Associate).
Experience with data cataloging and governance tools like Azure Purview.
Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and event-driven architectures.
Knowledge of data security and compliance frameworks (GDPR, HIPAA, etc Key Responsibilities

3. Write complex sql queries to extract and manipulate data for reporting and analysis purposes.

5. Collaborate with cross functional teams to troubleshoot data related issues and optimize data processes.

6. Stay updated on the latest azure technologies and recommend innovative solutions to improve data workflows.

Skill Requirements
