Key Roles & Responsibilities Deputy Manager (Production)
- Maintain and ensure 5S implementation in the department.
- Promote and ensure a strong safety culture within the department.
- Ensure the quality of production as per defined standards.
- Monitor and ensure achievement of production targets and productivity.
- Maintain and improve production efficiency.
- Coordinate with Stores for availability of raw materials (RM) and packing materials (PM).
- Maintain the Finished Goods (FG) stacking plan.
- Prepare and execute production planning as per schedule.
- Ensure dispatch of received orders within 24 hours and maintain proper shelf management.
- Provide proposed production dates for all received orders.
- Support initiatives to increase dispatch volume and value.
- Coordinate inter-plant dispatches as required.
- Drive process developments and continuous improvements.
- Develop and maintain a skill matrix for all production staff.
- Ensure timely submission of all production-related reports.
- Coordinate with the Maintenance team for preventive maintenance activities.
- Coordinate with Maintenance for handling major breakdowns efficiently.
- Coordinate with all support departments to ensure smooth production operations.
- Reconcile stock with Logistics and Stores departments.
- Ensure monthly stock audits and support external audits
