Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role located in Chennai for a Financial Planning and Analysis Manager. The role involves leading budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling activities; analyzing financial data to provide actionable insights; preparing reports to support decision-making processes; and collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize financial performance. The Financial Planning and Analysis Manager will also play a key role in monitoring key performance metrics and identifying opportunities for growth and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Strong financial analysis, financial forecasting, and budgeting skills
• Proficiency in data analysis and financial modeling using tools like Excel or relevant financial software
• Experience in strategic planning and performance optimization
• Effective collaboration and communication skills for cross-functional teamwork
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field
• Professional certifications such as CFA, CPA, or equivalent are an advantage
• Familiarity with tools or platforms used in the finance or technology domain is a plus
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in financial planning and analysis or a similar role

Job Description

We are hiring an experienced
FP&A Professional (CA/MBA Finance)
with 8 years of expertise in Financial Planning & Analysis, business partnering, and analytical reporting. The ideal candidate should have strong financial modelling skills, hands-on experience in BI tools, and the ability to lead and guide FP&A analysts.

Key Responsibilities

• Create standard and ad-hoc reports based on business requirements.
• Ensure accurate reporting and implement effective communication mechanisms.
• Resolve escalations, manage, and guide a team of FP&A Analysts.
• Supervise an offshore FP&A team and ensure strong workforce management (coaching, competencies, knowledge management).
• Lead analysis, process improvement, and harmonization projects.
• Build strong internal relationships with Business Teams and the E2E community.
• Ensure integrity of financial data across a complex data landscape.
• Drive continuous improvement in planning systems and enablement.
• Deliver forward-looking analysis and provide business insights by translating financial and non-financial KPI variances.
• Ensure compliance with local regulatory & statutory requirements.
• Monitor financial position of Business/Function/Industry operations or Innovation projects.
• Support strategic decisions through business modelling, scenario planning, opportunity/risk assessment, etc.
• Align local reporting/analytical requirements with overall corporate data governance.
• Improve service delivery catalogue by standardizing and aligning requirements.
• Participate in cross-COE governance and drive related initiatives.
• Manage & support business-centric data quality enhancements.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• CA / MBA (Finance)
  with strong FP&A expertise
• 6–9 years
  of relevant experience in end-to-end FP&A
• Strong financial analysis & decision-support capability
• Experience working with BI tools:
  Business Objects, Alteryx, Power BI
• Excellent analytical thinking, communication, and stakeholder management
• Experience leading teams and managing offshore FP&A functions
