Essential skills

  • Knowledge of front-end technologies like HTML, CSS, Bootstrap and JavaScript, jQuery.
  • Understanding of UI/UX principles and best practices.
  • Experience with responsive design.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Knowledge of Core PHP and Angular will be beneficial.

Core responsibilities

  • Design and layout: Create visually engaging website layouts, user interfaces, and sample pages, including selecting colour schemes, typography, and images.
  • Wireframing and prototyping: Develop site maps, wireframes, and mock-ups to communicate design concepts.
  • Responsiveness and compatibility: Design for various devices and ensure cross-browser compatibility.
  • Collaboration: Work with developers to implement designs, coordinate with content teams, and gather requirements from clients or stakeholders.
  • Brand consistency: Ensure all designs adhere to established brand guidelines and standards.
  • Optimization: Optimize website performance and user experience and implement SEO best practices.
  • Quality assurance: Conduct usability testing and perform final checks to ensure a high-quality, bug-free product before launch.
  • Staying current: Keep up to date with the latest web design trends, technologies, and best practices.
