We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of a Sr. Associate Director, Software Engineering

In this role, you will:

• Act as a SME on the design and implementation of technology solutions to meet the needs of the CCM technology function on a tactical and strategic basis covering number of significant Regulatory and business transformation initiatives in the bank.
• Take accountability to work closely and build a trusted relationship with the business to ensure delivery of the benefits outlined in the business case via a global roll out, while leveraging all of the functions of the system
• Provide consultancy advice, as a trusted partner, to both global and regional stakeholders within the business and other IT teams on how best to use the features and functions of the product in a consistent and efficient manner
• Introduce new practices, processes, techniques, products, services, technologies and standards where needed against identified use cases, via the appropriate governance bodies.
• Act as a trusted advisor to the Head of Monitoring SVS Technology lead in creating a trust-based management culture with a high level of effective communication globally.
• Accountable for ensuring compliance of the products and services with mandatory and regulatory requirements, control objectives in the risk and control framework (in line with published standards and guidelines) and with the architecture function, implementation of the business imperatives.
• The role holder must work with the wider CCM and CIB IT communities of practice to maximize automation, increase efficiency and ensure that best practice, and the latest tools, techniques and processes have been adopted.
• Provide consultancy advice, as a trusted partner, to both global and regional stakeholders within the business and other IT teams on how best to use the features and functions of the product in a consistent and efficient manner.
• Develop the overall product strategy, providing the vision and roadmap for the product suite to help drive straight-through processing and reduce operational costs
• Collaborate with technical leaders and product owners to contribute to product and project strategy, code standards, roadmap definition, and requirements gathering.
• Advocate and advance modern software development practices within the mobile engineering community.
• Helping with designing, maintaining and improving all aspects of the software delivery lifecycle

To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:

• Should have working experience in Core Java and J2EE, Spring , Springboot
• Should have CSS, HTML, Bootstrap, Java Script
• Should have ReactJS ,Angular JS or equivalent UI framework.
• Should be able to design and author industry standard API definitions and knowledge API authoring tools like swagger
• Should be well versed and have real time experience on JEST, Jasmine, Junit, GITHUB, Maven, GIT, MQ.
• Should be having working experience in connecting and performing operation in Database using Hibernate or Spring JDBC.
• Contribute to all stages of software development lifecycle
• Develop and test software
• Identify and resolve any technical issues arising
• Create detailed design documentation
• Develop technical designs for application development
• Write well designed, testable code
• Conducting software analysis, programming, testing, and debugging
• Manage Java and Java EE application development
• Develop documentation to help users
• Prepare and produce releases of software components
• Support continuous improvement, investigating alternatives and technologies.
• Proven project management skills, including planning, prioritisation, delegation and delivery of outstanding results.

The successful candidate will also meet the following requirements: (Good to have Requirements) 

• Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, GEN AI.
• Nice to have Backbone JS/handlebar JS and willing to learn once on-boarded into the project.
• Nice to have Devops tools like Jenkins and Agile Scrum process and Jira. Should be willing to learn.
• Micro-services architecture, design patterns and development
• Event driven architecture/Service Bus/Messaging – Kafka/Google Pub-Sub
• Containerisation and Orchestration with Kubernetes and Docker
• Understanding of NoSQL/Non-relational databases, such as MongoDB
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills required in English; other language abilities are advantageous
