Principal Scientist/Specialist Microbial

Job Title: Principal Scientist / Specialist Microbial & Biological Product Development

Department: Biological R&D

Location: Sikandrabad, Uttar Pradesh

Key Responsibilities

• Develop bio-stimulant and microbial products adhering to standards such as ICH, ASTM, ISO, CIPAC.
• Lead process development for microbial pesticides, including handling of upstream and downstream process instruments.
• Manage microbial pesticide production ensuring quality control of both microbial and biological products.
• Operate and oversee fermenter functions at lab and production scales.
• Conduct polyhouse, RBD, and field trials; compile and analyze statistical data.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks, including CIB, FCO, EU, US EPA.
• Facilitate technology transfer, product handling, and microbial production (e.g., Mycorrhizae, Trichoderma, Beauvaria, Pseudomonas).
• Provide training and mentorship to team members and manage laboratory operations independently.
• Exhibit strong teamwork, proactivity, positive outlook, and effective time management.
• Maintain proficient communication skills in English and Hindi; proficient in MS Office.

Qualifications & Experience

• Ph.D. in Agriculture Microbiology/Microbiology/Plant Pathology or M.Sc. with extensive experience.
• Minimum 10+ years of experience for Ph.D. holders or 15+ years for M.Sc. in microbial/biological product development.
