Mohan Management Consultants has been providing Management Consultancy and Corporate Support services in Singapore since 1990. Our clients who are locally based or headquartered in other countries come from a diverse array of industries such as Airlines, Logistics, Software, Media and Technology, Manufacturing, Retail, Trading, Commodities Trading, Shipping, Medical equipment, FMCG, Fund Management and Investment Holding Companies.
ROLE INTRODUCTION
This role will include handling all accounting requirements of clients under the group portfolio as assigned and will work towards assisting the group in completing all compliances within stipulated deadlines.
RESPONSIBILITIES
l To scrutinise accounts, coordinate with clients for procuring requisite information, in order to make relevant
l disclosures as per latest Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS).
l To finalise compilation journal entries, coordinate with the tax department for preparation of tax computation
l To prepare and maintain relevant working papers diligently
l To prepare the full set of management financial statements/consolidated financial statements for clients and for submission to statutory authorities
l To maintain records of financial transactions by posting entries, based on documents submitted by clients into an accounting software.
l To reconcile bank accounts, post year/month end entries for all accruals, depreciation or similar entries.
l To prepare Singapore GST returns for quarterly submission.
l To generate year-end financial reports for management review.
l To prepare MIS reports as may be requested by management from time to time.
l To liaise with external statutory auditors as may be required and respond to any audit queries that may be raised.
REQUIREMENTS
l Experienced IPCC/CA Inter or CA/ACCA qualified
l Must be adept in at least one bookkeeping software other than Tally, Quickbooks Desktop, Quickbooks Online, Xero.
l Must possess intermediate level MS Excel and MS Word skills or equivalent.
l Able to work under strict deadlines.
l Must be fluent in spoken and written English.
● Since this is a remote position candidates are expected to possess/have access to the following :

PROFICIENCY TESTS
There will be two tests conducted during the interview process. They are as follows:
1. English Proficiency mins) - An online test that is done before the interview begins. A minimum of 75% is required.
2. Occupational Test days) - If a candidate is shortlisted, they will be presented with a set of open-ended questions that relate to the job role.
