Job description:

Job Title: Senior CNC Programmer

Department: CNC Machining / Manufacturing

Location: Perundurai, SIPCOT

Experience: 5+ years in CNC Programming & Machining

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and generate precise CNC programs using Mastercam (2D & 3D).
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints with accuracy.
• Select appropriate cutting tools, holders, and fixtures based on job requirements.
• Perform program proving, trial runs, and validate output on CNC milling and turning machines.
• Optimize existing programs for cycle time, tool life, and machining quality.
• Collaborate with machinists and operators to ensure smooth execution of operations.
• Troubleshoot programming or machining issues and implement corrective actions.
• Work towards continuous improvement in machining processes, quality, and productivity.

Required Skills:

• Proficiency in CAM software such as Mastercam, AutoCAD, UG/NX, or equivalent.
• Strong understanding of engineering drawings, GD&T, and machining symbols.
• Hands-on experience with tool selection, cutting data, and process planning.
• Sound knowledge of CNC machining sequences, tooling, and workholding techniques.
• Ability to conduct root-cause analysis for machining issues.
• Familiarity with quality standards, 5S, and ISO procedures.

Educational Qualification:

• Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical / Production / Tool Engineering.
• Certification in CNC Programming is a plus.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹25, ₹40,000.00 per month
