Role Summary

As a Graphic & Motion Designer at Halfpants Media, you'll be the creative pulse behind visuals that stop thumbs, spark emotions, and tell stories with design and motion. You'll craft everything from brand campaigns and digital creatives to motion-led visuals that move people — literally. You'll work closely with the creative, strategy, and video teams to shape visuals that are bold, clean, and timeless. This role is for someone who thinks in shapes, colors, and keyframes — and sees AI not as a threat, but as a creative ally.

Responsibilities

  • Conceptualize and design brand visuals, digital campaigns, and social media creatives with strong storytelling and design sense.
  • Create motion graphics, animations, and visual effects to elevate campaigns and video content.
  • Collaborate with the creative team to develop visual concepts, storyboards, and executions that align with brand strategy.
  • Design for multiple formats — static, motion, digital, and print — while maintaining brand consistency and visual excellence.
  • Use AI-powered tools daily to explore, ideate, and enhance creative output.
  • Stay ahead of global design and motion trends and apply them thoughtfully to elevate our work.
  • Manage multiple design projects efficiently while maintaining a high creative bar.
  • Contribute fresh ideas, offer design insights, and participate actively in brainstorming sessions.
  • Take ownership of projects end-to-end with precision, taste, and creative intent.

Qualifications

  • 1–2 years of experience in graphic design, motion graphics, or a related creative field.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing a blend of static and motion design work.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, After Effects, Premiere Pro) or equivalent tools.
  • Daily use of AI tools for creative ideation, visualization, and workflow optimization.
  • Solid understanding of design principles, typography, color, layout, and animation fundamentals.
  • Awareness of global design and motion trends — not just Pinterest boards.
  • Strong collaborative mindset with the ability to take direction and bring new ideas to the table.
  • Leadership potential — we're building a founding creative team, and we value initiative and vision.
