Job Summary:

As a Social Media Content Strategist at MediaX, you'll be at the core of our digital marketing campaigns, working closely with clients to craft effective strategies, develop engaging content, and drive brand growth across social media platforms. Reporting to the Account Director, you will oversee the development of strategic plans, collaborate with creative and execution teams, and help with pitches and campaign ideation. We're looking for a dynamic individual with a flair for content creation, a strong understanding of social media trends, and the ability to build client relationships while driving impactful strategies.

Responsibilities and Duties:

Client Relationship Management and Communication

  • Collaborate with clients to develop social media strategies that align with their brand and business objectives.
  • Serve as the point of contact for clients, ensuring ongoing communication and understanding of their vision.
  • Conduct bi-monthly feedback sessions with clients to ensure alignment on social media campaigns and adjust strategies as needed.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, offering strategic guidance on how to elevate their social media presence.
  • Prepare and deliver regular client updates on campaign performance, trends, and adjustments.
  • Help clients with topical planning, ensuring the content resonates with their audience and industry trends.
  • Ensure that Statements of Work (SOW) are completed and objectives are met for all social media projects.

Strategic Planning and Campaign Development

  • Develop and execute social media content strategies that support client marketing goals and drive engagement.
  • Collaborate with the creative team to craft engaging social media campaigns and content that reflects the client's brand voice.
  • Support pitch development and contribute to creative brainstorming sessions, ensuring ideas are innovative and in line with client objectives.
  • Stay ahead of social media trends and identify opportunities to integrate emerging platforms and strategies into client campaigns.
  • Create detailed content calendars, campaign briefs, and social media plans, ensuring consistency across platforms.

Internal Team Collaboration and Growth

  • Work closely with internal teams (creative, design, performance) to ensure that all campaigns are executed seamlessly.
  • Lead brainstorming sessions and strategy meetings with the team to generate fresh ideas and solutions for clients.
  • Provide feedback and insights to the creative team to optimize content for social media.
  • Coordinate and support the internal team with task delegation and ensure that all deliverables meet the client's expectations.

Content Creation and Quality Assurance

  • Oversee the creation of social media content, ensuring that it aligns with client goals and maintains high creative standards.
  • Monitor and analyze campaign performance, making adjustments to optimize results.
  • Work with the art and copy teams to ensure that content is aligned with client messaging and optimized for engagement.

Marketing Expertise and Trend Analysis

  • Continuously monitor and evaluate the performance of social media campaigns to ensure effectiveness.
  • Research industry trends, competitors, and audience preferences to inform content creation and strategy development.
  • Leverage data to provide actionable insights and recommendations for campaign optimization.
  • Required Experience, Skills, and QualificationsMinimum of 2 years of experience in social media content strategy, campaign planning, or content creation.
  • Proven ability to create successful social media strategies and campaigns for clients.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of social media platforms, trends, and best practices.
  • Familiarity with social media analytics tools and performance metrics.
  • Ability to think creatively and strategically while keeping client objectives in mind.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in standard office software and project management tools (e.g., Google Workspace, Trello, Asana).
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret social media data and optimize campaigns accordingly.
  • Proactive, client-focused approach, with a passion for staying ahead of industry trends.
