Job Title: QA Manager
Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Quality Assurance (QA) Manager to lead our QA team. The QA Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of quality assurance processes and procedures within respective Operation Team. This role requires strong leadership abilities, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of quality management principles. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of implementing and managing QA strategies to ensure the delivery of high-quality products or services.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Leadership and Team Management:
1. Lead, mentor, and motivate the QA team to achieve specific departmental goals and objectives.
2. Provide guidance and support to QA team members, improve the culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
3. Conduct regular performance evaluations, set clear performance expectations, and provide constructive feedback to team members.
Quality Assurance Strategy:
1. Develop and implement comprehensive QA strategies, policies, and procedures to ensure the project delivery quality meets or exceeds customer expectations.
2. Document the audit findings, prepare workflow charts, define metrics to measure and monitor performance, identify areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as necessary.
Process Improvement:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including training, operations, and client support, to drive continuous improvement initiatives and resolve quality-related issues.
Quality Assurance Oversight:
1. Oversee the planning, execution, and evaluation of QA activities throughout each project life cycle.
2. Establish and maintain quality control mechanisms, including, inspections, and audits, to ensure adherence to quality standards and regulatory requirements.
3. Conduct regular reviews and assessments of QA processes and outcomes, identifying trends, patterns, and areas for improvement.
Risk Management:
1. Identify potential risks to service quality and develop risk mitigation strategies to minimize impact.
2. Proactively address quality-related issues and escalate critical concerns to senior management as appropriate.
Stakeholder Engagement:
1. Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including project managers, and senior leadership, to align QA objectives with business goals and priorities.
2. Communicate QA strategy, progress, and outcomes to key stakeholders, providing regular updates and insights to support decision-making.
Qualifications & Requirements:
1. Bachelors degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
2. Proven experience (5 years) in a QA management role, preferably in a technology-driven organization.
3. Strong understanding of quality management principles, methodologies, and tools.
4. Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.
5. Demonstrated ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
6. In-depth knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.
7. Certification in quality assurance or related disciplines (e.g., Certified Quality Manager, Six Sigma) is a plus.
