About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Engineering Manager with strong hands-on expertise in .NET Full Stack, Angular, Azure PaaS, and exposure to Generative AI. The ideal candidate should have a proven track record in leading engineering teams, driving end-to-end solution design, and delivering scalable enterprise applications on the cloud.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and manage a high-performing team of full-stack engineers.
  • Architect, design, and deliver distributed and scalable applications using .NET Core, C#, Web API, Entity Framework, and Angular.
  • Drive cloud-native development leveraging Azure PaaS services (App Services, Functions, API Management, Event Grid, Service Bus, Cosmos DB, Azure SQL, Storage, etc.).
  • Oversee integration of Gen AI, LLMs, and Cognitive Services into product architecture.
  • Collaborate with product managers, UX teams, and stakeholders to convert business needs into technical solutions.
  • Ensure engineering best practices: code quality, CI/CD pipelines, automation, DevOps, observability, and security.
  • Provide technical leadership during design reviews, sprint planning, and architecture discussions.
  • Manage project timelines, resource planning, and risk mitigation.
  • Drive continuous improvement, innovation, and adoption of modern engineering trends.

Technical Skills Required

Core Engineering

  • Strong experience in .NET Core / .NET 6+, C#, REST APIs, Microservices architecture.
  • Frontend expertise in Angular 10+, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3.
  • Database experience with SQL Server, Azure SQL, Cosmos DB.

Cloud Technology (Azure PaaS)

  • Azure App Services, Functions, API Management, Azure Kubernetes Services (optional)
  • Event Grid, Service Bus, Key Vault
  • Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines

Gen AI / AI Integration

  • Experience with OpenAI / Azure OpenAI, LLM-based application integration
  • Knowledge of vector databases, embeddings, prompt engineering (good to have)

Engineering Leadership

  • Team management (820 engineers).
  • Agile/Scrum delivery management.
  • Strong stakeholder communication and project oversight.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors or Masters in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • 11+ years of software development experience with at least 3–4 years in engineering management roles.
  • Proven experience in cloud-native and enterprise-scale applications.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset.

Nice-to-Have

  • Experience with container platforms (Docker, AKS).
  • Exposure to DevSecOps practices.
  • Knowledge of Generative AI solution patterns (RAG, Agentic workflows).
