Role Description

This full-time on-site role, based in Mumbai, is for a Marine Service Engineer specializing in Communication, Navigation, and Automation systems. The role involves the installation, commissioning, maintenance, and repair of advanced maritime equipment, such as navigation and communication systems, onboard vessels or on-site. Responsibilities include conducting equipment diagnostics, handling GMDSS compliance and radio surveys, managing system integration, and preparing detailed service reports while ensuring adherence to international maritime regulations.

Qualifications

  • Knowledge of Marine Operations, including navigation, communication, and safety systems on vessels.
  • Experience in Navy, Boat, and Maritime systems along with relevant operational familiarity.
  • Strong technical Training background relevant to marine electronics and automation systems.
  • Problem-solving skills and the ability to work in offshore and high-pressure environments.
  • Proficient in diagnosing and repairing equipment faults with a client-first mindset.
  • Familiarity with international maritime regulations and certifications like GMDSS and VDR APT is advantageous.
  • A degree or certification in Marine Engineering, Electronics and Communication, or a related technical field is preferred.
