PHP Developer (Laravel + WordPress Backend Specialist)

Location: Mohali | Full-Time, Permanent

Experience: 4+ Years | Salary: ₹40,000 – ₹50,000

About the Role

We're hiring a developer who knows their way around PHP frameworks — especially Laravel — and is equally confident working on the WordPress backend. If you can switch between Laravel logic and WordPress customizations without breaking a sweat, this role is literally made for you.

What You'll Work On

  • Building and scaling Laravel-based applications
  • Customizing WordPress backend (CPTs, hooks, plugins, APIs)
  • Writing clean, secure, no-nonsense code
  • Debugging issues and optimizing performance
  • Creating & integrating REST APIs
  • Collaborating with product, design, and frontend teams
  • Participating in code reviews and following best practices

Must-Have Skills

  • 4+ years of hands-on PHP development
  • Strong experience with Laravel (v8 or newer)
  • Solid knowledge of WordPress backend
  • MySQL experience + query optimization
  • Git/version control
  • Good understanding of REST APIs & security
  • Basic frontend understanding (HTML, CSS, JS)
