Key Responsibilities

• Dispense medicines accurately as per prescription, following all regulatory and safety guidelines.
• Maintain proper storage, handling, and inventory of medicines and pharmacy supplies.
• Assist customers/patients by providing correct medicine information, dosage instructions, and answering basic queries.
• Ensure compliance with drug laws, pharmacy regulations, and internal SOPs.
• Maintain daily stock records, expiry tracking, and inventory reconciliation.
• Handle billing, cash transactions, and POS operations.
• Coordinate with doctors, CHWs, and clinic teams for smooth pharmacy operations.
• Report stock shortages, fast-moving items, and damaged/expired medicine details to management promptly.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the pharmacy area.
• Support periodic audits and ensure documentation accuracy.

Required Qualifications.

• Valid West Bengal Pharmacy Council Registration is mandatory.
• Minimum 1–2 years of experience in a retail pharmacy/clinic pharmacy (preferred).
• Good knowledge of generic and branded medicines, dosage, and drug interactions.

Skills & Competencies

• Strong understanding of pharmacy operations and prescription handling.
• Good communication skills in Bengali and basic Hindi.
• Customer-friendly attitude and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to handle inventory, billing systems, and maintain accurate records.
• Responsible, accountable, and able to work independently.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹8, ₹10,511.52 per month
