Summary :

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled SQL/T-SQL Developer to design, develop, test, and maintain robust database solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server and a deep understanding of database performance tuning and optimization techniques.

Key Responsibilities :

1. Database Development and Design :

- Develop, implement, and maintain database objects, including tables, stored procedures, views, user-defined functions, constraints, and indexes.

- Work extensively with various SQL constructs, including temporary tables, joins (INNER, LEFT, RIGHT, FULL), and complex subqueries.

- Utilize advanced data formats like XML and JSON for data storage and exchange.

- Apply aggregate functions effectively to transform and present data for reporting and analysis.

2. SQL Server Expertise :

- Demonstrate strong knowledge and practical experience with SQL and T-SQL (Transact-SQL) programming.

- Maintain proficiency with various versions of Microsoft SQL Server (e.g., 2008/2012/2014/2016), including understanding of version-specific features and best practices.

3. Performance and Optimization :

- Implement and maintain high-performing stored procedures and functions.

- Possess strong experience with performance tuning and query optimization techniques to ensure the scalability and efficiency of database operations.

- Analyze and troubleshoot complex SQL queries and database bottlenecks using tools like Execution Plans and SQL Server Profiler.

Qualifications (Optional Addition) :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).

- 3+ years of professional experience as a SQL Developer or similar role.

- Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
