Resident Medical Officer (RMO) / Medical Officer (MBBS) – On-site (Chandausi, Uttar Pradesh, India)
About The Opportunity
Join a growing clinical team delivering high-quality patient care at a hospital/clinic in Chandausi, UP. This on-site RMO role is ideal for an MBBS-qualified clinician who can manage OPD/IPD duties, respond to emergencies, and maintain clear, timely documentation while working closely with nursing and allied health staff.
Role & Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in OPD and IPD—take histories, perform clinical examinations, formulate working diagnoses, and initiate treatment plans.
- Respond to emergency and urgent cases, stabilise patients, and escalate to specialists or transfer when necessary.
- Prescribe medications, order and interpret routine investigations, and follow up on patient progress.
- Maintain accurate medical records, discharge summaries, and handover notes; ensure compliance with clinical protocols.
- Supervise and coordinate with nursing and support staff for bedside care, medication administration, and infection-control measures.
- Participate in rotation-based duties and on-call schedules as required for uninterrupted patient coverage.
Skills & Qualifications
Must-Have
- MBBS degree from a recognised medical college and current Indian Medical/NMC registration.
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in hospital or clinic settings (OPD/IPD/emergency) — fresh graduates with strong internships may be considered.
- Competence in emergency management and basic life support; ability to work rotating shifts and on-call duties.
- Strong clinical documentation, prescription-writing skills, and effective patient communication in Hindi and English.
Preferred
- Prior experience as an RMO or Medical Officer in a similar setting and familiarity with regional referral pathways.
- Certifications such as BLS/ACLS or trauma/basic emergency care training.
