Position Title: Commis II

Qualification- Graduation or Diploma in hotel & hospitality management

Location- Bangalore

Experince-1-2 years in same industry

Position Summary:

The Commis II is responsible for supporting food preparation and production in accordance with the kitchen standards. This role ensures consistency, quality, hygiene, and timely delivery of dishes while assisting senior chefs in daily operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare ingredients and carry out basic cooking tasks as assigned by the Chef de Partie.
  • Maintain mise-en-place according to operational requirements.
  • Assist in producing high-quality dishes following standard recipes and presentation guidelines.
  • Ensure proper handling, storage, and labeling of food items.
  • Follow HACCP and food safety standards at all times.
  • Maintain cleanliness of workstations, equipment, and kitchen tools.
  • Support with receiving and checking deliveries when required.
  • Communicate and coordinate effectively with team members.
  • Uphold sanitation and hygiene standards in all food preparation areas.
  • Perform any other duties assigned by senior chefs.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Minimum 1-2 years of kitchen experience in a similar role.
  • Basic culinary training or certificate preferred.
  • Good knowledge of kitchen operations and food safety.
  • Ability to work under pressure and follow instructions.
  • Team player with a positive attitude.

JOB DESCRIPTION BEVERAGE EXECUTIVE

Position Summary:

The Beverage Executive oversees the beverage program, ensuring high standards of product quality, service, and profitability. This role supports menu development, inventory control, supplier management, and staff training related to beverages.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the development, engineering, and updating of beverage menus (cocktails, mocktails, wines, specialty drinks).
  • Monitor beverage service quality and ensure brand standards are consistently met.
  • Assist in selecting, sourcing, and evaluating beverage products with suppliers.
  • Conduct regular inventory checks and control beverage costing, wastage, and variance.
  • Train staff on beverage knowledge, service techniques, and upselling strategies.
  • Analyze beverage sales reports and recommend improvement actions.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and licensing regulations.
  • Coordinate with bar team to maintain cleanliness, stock levels, and equipment functionality.
  • Handle guest feedback and ensure outstanding beverage experience.
  • Assist in planning beverage promotions, events, and pairings.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • 1–4 years of experience in bar or beverage operations, preferably in hospitality.
  • Strong knowledge of beverages: coffee, tea, and mixology.
  • Excellent communication and guest-service skills.
  • Ability to train and lead bar staff.
  • Good understanding of inventory control and cost management.
  • Creative and up-to-date with beverage trends.
