Job Summary:

We are seeking a talented and versatile individual to join our creative team as a Video Editor & Android Graphic Designer. This unique role combines video editing expertise with strong graphic design skills, specifically for Android applications and related promotional materials. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating compelling video content, enhancing our Android app's visual appeal, and designing engaging graphics that resonate with our target audience.

Responsibilities:

Video Editing (Approx. 60%):

* Edit and produce high-quality video content for various platforms, including app promotional videos, tutorials, social media ads, and internal communications.

* Work closely with the marketing and product teams to understand video objectives and deliver effective visual narratives.

* Incorporate motion graphics, special effects, and sound design to enhance video production value.

* Select and edit music, voiceovers, and sound effects to align with brand guidelines and video themes.

* Manage and organize video footage and project files efficiently.

* Stay updated with the latest video editing software, techniques, and industry trends.

Android Graphic Design (Approx. 40%):

* Design intuitive, visually appealing, and user-friendly graphics for Android applications (UI/UX elements, icons, illustrations, splash screens, etc.).

* Ensure all graphic designs adhere to Android Material Design guidelines and best practices.

* Create promotional graphics for the Google Play Store, social media campaigns, and other marketing channels (e.g., banners, ad creatives, infographics).

* Collaborate with app developers to ensure seamless integration of designs.

* Maintain brand consistency across all visual assets.

* Conduct A/B testing on graphic designs to optimize performance.

General:

* Brainstorm and conceptualize creative ideas to meet project requirements.

* Manage multiple projects simultaneously while adhering to deadlines.

* Provide constructive feedback and work collaboratively within a team environment.

* Proactively identify opportunities to improve visual content and design processes.

Qualifications:

* Proven work experience (X years, e.g., 2+ years) as a Video Editor and/or Graphic Designer, with a strong portfolio showcasing both disciplines.

* Proficiency in professional video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve).

* Strong command of graphic design software (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Figma, Sketch).

* Demonstrable experience designing for Android applications and understanding of Material Design principles.

* Solid understanding of video production workflows, color correction, sound mixing, and various video formats.

* Excellent eye for detail, strong aesthetic sense, and creativity.

* Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team.

* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

* Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Multimedia, Film Production, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).

Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Haves):

* Experience with motion graphics software (e.g., Adobe After Effects).

* Knowledge of UI/UX principles and user-centered design methodologies.

* Experience with animation techniques.

* Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., Trello, Asana, Jira).
