As a Graduate Engineer Trainee (Engineering) at Armstrong International, I support the Engineering Department in designing and developing thermal utility components and assemblies. My role includes creating 3D models, preparing manufacturing drawings, and assisting in product documentation using industry-standard tools.

Key Responsibilities:

Creating 3D models of industrial components such as pipes, valves, traps, and heat-transfer parts in SolidWorks.

Converting models into 2D engineering drawings with complete GD&T and dimensioning.

Preparing Bill of Materials (BOM) for assemblies and manufacturing.

Working with SolidWorks PDM for file management, revision control, and part number creation.

Supporting design updates, change notices, and customer-specific modifications.

Reviewing order details, dimensions, and part numbers based on sales input.

Coordinating with Manufacturing, QA, SCM, and Inside Sales as part of the training rotation.

Learning standards related to steam, air, and hot water products and Armstrong thermal utility solutions.

Ensuring design accuracy and following company engineering standards and procedures.
