Responsibilities

Job Summary: 

We are seeking a skilled POS Tester to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in testing Point of Sale systems, ensuring their functionality, reliability, and performance. You will work closely with developers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality POS solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, execute, and maintain test cases and test scripts for POS systems.
  • Perform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing.
  • Identify, document, and track defects using defect management tools.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and ensure test coverage.
  • Validate hardware and software integration for POS devices.
  • Conduct end-to-end testing, including payment gateway and transaction processing.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and security protocols.
  • Provide detailed test reports and recommendations for improvements.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 4 to 6 years of experience in software testing, with a focus on POS systems.
  • Proficiency in manual and automated testing tools.
  • Strong understanding of POS hardware and software components.
  • Familiarity with payment gateways, EMV, NFC, and other transaction technologies.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with mobile POS systems.
  • Certification in software testing (e.g., ISTQB).
Qualifications
  • BE/BTech/MCA or an equivalent combination of education and experience
