We are seeking an
5-8 years
experienced Civil Site Engineer to serve as the client's on-site representative, ensuring the successful execution of industrial, infrastructure, and construction projects. The role involves supervising contractors, coordinating with stakeholders, and ensuring that all project activities are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Act as the primary representative of the client throughout all phases of civil construction projects.
  2. Review, interpret, and validate engineering drawings, technical specifications, and contract documents.
  3. Supervise and inspect ongoing construction activities to ensure compliance with approved designs, statutory codes, and quality benchmarks.
  4. Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and local authorities to address and resolve site-related issues.
  5. Monitor project milestones and provide timely progress updates to the client and internal management.
  6. Evaluate contractor work progress and recommend approvals for milestone-based payments.
  7. Participate in site meetings and provide updates on technical, progress, and schedule-related matters.
  8. Ensure adherence to safety, health, and environmental standards at the project site.
  9. Identify potential project risks and recommend mitigation measures to prevent delays or cost escalations.
  10. Support the preparation and review of change orders, assist in claims analysis, and contribute to dispute resolution processes.
  11. Maintain comprehensive project documentation and support activities related to site handover and commissioning.

Job Specifications

Education:
Diploma/B.Tech in Civil Engineering

Experience: 5–8 years
of hands-on experience in site execution, monitoring, quality checks, and a strong understanding of testing procedures.

Technical Skills:

  • Proficient in project planning tools such as
    Microsoft Project (MSP)
    , with at least 2 years of practical experience.
  • Ability to oversee and monitor site activities while ensuring compliance with project timelines, quality standards, and safety norms.
  • Experienced in conducting regular quality inspections and ensuring adherence to technical specifications and approved drawings.
  • Practical experience using ERP systems—preferably SAP Business One—for project tracking, procurement, and reporting.

Project Management:

  • Skilled in planning, scheduling, resource allocation, time management, and risk management.
  • Strong capabilities in strategic planning, risk identification/mitigation, and change management.

Soft Skills:

  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving abilities to effectively manage teams and address on-site challenges.
  • Experience in conflict resolution and coordination across multidisciplinary teams.

Domain Knowledge:

  • Relevant experience in civil foundation works, especially in projects related to Security Integration and Gate Management Systems.
