Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role based in Bengaluru for a Sous Chef. The Sous Chef will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day kitchen operations, ensuring food quality and consistency, and supervising kitchen staff. Key responsibilities include menu planning, inventory management, maintaining hygiene and safety protocols, and supporting the Head Chef in managing kitchen efficiency. Collaboration with team members to improve processes and enhance the overall dining experience is essential.

Qualifications

  • Culinary expertise, including food preparation, cooking techniques, and menu creation
  • Leadership and team management skills to oversee and assist kitchen staff
  • Knowledge of food safety standards, hygiene practices, and sanitation protocols
  • Organizational and time management skills for effective inventory control and shift planning
  • Creativity in crafting recipes and innovative dishes
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a high-paced kitchen environment
  • Culinary degree/diploma or equivalent professional training is preferred
  • Experience in a hospitality or fine dining environment is an advantage
