Senior XR SDK Engineer & Technical Lead

Experience: 5 –12 years

Role Overview

1. We are looking for a Senior Technical Manager / Senior SDK Architect who can lead the end-to-end architecture, development, and integration of SDKs across Mobile, Web, Cloud, and XR applications.
2. This role acts as the bridge between product requirements and the engineering team, making key decisions on technology, architecture, and development strategy for products like TOMORO, XR simulators, healthcare solutions, and future Touch & Motion platforms.
3. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in SDK development, along with the ability to integrate multiple tracking systems such as Unity, MediaPipe, Orbbec, and cloud backend services (Azure).

Key Responsibilities

SDK Architecture & Dvelopment

• Build and architect SDKs from scratch using C# and Python
• Create integration-ready SDKs for Unity, Android, and Web applications
• Design clean APIs, versioning, documentation, and packaging
• Develop bridges between MediaPipe / Orbbec / AI pipelines and Unity apps
• Architect the flow: Sensor → SDK → App → Cloud

Technical Leadership

• Decide the tech stack for Android, Web, Backend, and XR components
• Translate product/market needs into actionable technical plans
• Guide development teams (AR/VR Unity team, Android team, Web team, Backend team)
• Mentor junior developers and ensure engineering best practices

Cross-Platform Development Oversight

• Ensure smooth integration between:
• Android apps, Unity apps, Web dashboards, Cloud backend
• Provide technical direction for:
• Native Android (Java/Kotlin) or Flutter/React Native
• Web apps (React/Angular/Vue)
• Backend / Python / .NET Core)
• AI pipelines (MediaPipe / custom ML models)

Hardware & Tracking Integration

• Understand and integrate MediaPipe SDK outputs (pose, skeleton, landmarks)
• Work with Orbbec SDK / depth sensors for motion tracking
• Handle calibration, skeleton mapping, filtering pipelines
• Evaluate and optimize tracking accuracy and performance

Cloud & AI Integration

• Use Azure SDK and services for backend communication
• Deploy data pipelines, APIs, authentication, analytics layers
• Work with AI/ML teams to integrate inference modules

QA, Release, and Product Lifecycle

• Own the full development lifecycle from planning → testing → deployment
• Work with QA team to validate SDK, sensor accuracy, and app performance
• Manage CI/CD, release cycles, documentation, and version control

Required Skills

Core Skills (Must Have)

1. SDK development experience (C# and Python)
2. Strong understanding of Unity SDK integration
3. Experience working with MediaPipe, Orbbec, or similar motion tracking SDKs
4. Azure cloud SDK and backend architecture knowledge
5. Android development (Java/Kotlin or cross-platform like Flutter)
6. Modern Web application understanding (React/Angular/Vue)
7. Strong API architecture & database knowledge

Techical Strength
