Job Summary

We are hiring a skilled
Rebar Detailer
with 3–5 years of experience in producing accurate and detailed reinforcement shop drawings. The ideal candidate should be proficient in rebar detailing software and possess a solid understanding of international reinforcement standards, including
ACI, BS, CSA, ASTM, and IS
. The role requires expertise in interpreting structural/architectural drawings and delivering high-quality detailing outputs for reinforced concrete structures.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare
  rebar shop drawings
  ,
  bar bending schedules (BBS)
  , and
  placing drawings
  based on structural and architectural plans.
• Interpret construction drawings and project specifications to ensure correct rebar placement and detailing.
• Create 2D/3D rebar models using detailing software such as
  AutoCAD, RebarCAD, Tekla Structures, CADS RC
  , or similar tools.
• Ensure compliance with relevant reinforcement codes and standards, including:
• ACI (U.S.)
• BS 8666 (U.K.)
• CSA A23.3 (Canada)
• ASTM
• IS 456 (India)
• Generate
  cutting lists
  ,
  quantity take-offs
  , and
  material summaries
  for fabrication.
• Coordinate with structural engineers, project managers, and site teams to clarify detailing requirements.
• Review and update drawings based on
  RFIs
  , engineer comments, and site condition changes.
• Maintain accurate project documentation, revision logs, and version control.

Key Skills & Competencies

• Proficiency in
  AutoCAD
  ,
  RebarCAD
  ,
  Tekla Structures
  , or equivalent detailing tools.
• Strong understanding of reinforced concrete detailing and construction practices.
• Thorough knowledge of
  international RC detailing codes and standards
  (ACI, BS, CSA, ASTM, IS).
• Expertise in preparing
  BBS
  and understanding rebar cutting/fabrication norms.
• High attention to detail with strong accuracy in drawings.
• Strong communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to work independently and handle multiple detailing tasks concurrently.

Educational Qualification

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in
  Civil Engineering
  or a related field.
• Certification or training in
  Rebar Detailing
  is an added advantage.
