Job Description*
We are seeking a hands-on Software R&D Manager to lead a multidisciplinary engineering team developing both desktop and web-based applications for our industry-leading data and IP management product line. This role combines technical leadership with Agile project management, requiring deep expertise in software development and team execution.

*Responsibilities*

  • Lead and mentor a cross-functional engineering team.
  • Manage Agile/Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog grooming, and retrospectives.
  • Drive technical execution and innovation across desktop and web platforms.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to align product goals and delivery timelines.
  • Oversee continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines and ensure code quality through automated testing.
  • Facilitate cross-team communication and resolve blockers.

*Qualifications
Qualifications*

  • 10+ years of software development experience.
  • 2+ years managing software development teams.
  • Proficiency in C++, Tcl/Tk, Python/Django, Angular.
  • Experience with PostgreSQL performance tuning and advanced querying.
  • Strong understanding of software architecture, REST APIs, and design patterns.
  • Skilled in Agile methodologies and Scrum Master practices.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
