Roles and Responsibilities:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales Manager and Sales Engineer to lead our sales efforts in the industrial automation sector, primarily focusing on the automotive industry. The Sales Manager / Engineer will play a key role in driving business growth, establishing and nurturing client relationships, and achieving sales targets. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of industrial automation technologies, a proven track record in sales within the automotive sector, and excellent leadership skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Development:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the automotive industry, specifically related to industrial automation solutions.
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to expand the client base and increase revenue.
- Conduct market research to identify industry trends, customer needs, and competitive offerings.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients in the automotive sector.
- Understand client requirements and collaborate with the technical team to propose customized automation solutions.
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing their inquiries, providing technical support, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals tailored to the specific needs of automotive clients.
- Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing structures with clients to secure profitable deals.
- Close sales and achieve or exceed revenue targets within specified timelines.
- Collaborate closely with the technical and engineering teams to align sales strategies with the capabilities of our industrial automation solutions.
- Communicate client feedback and project requirements effectively to ensure successful project implementation.
- Foster a collaborative and positive working relationship with colleagues and clients alike.
- Stay updated about advancements in industrial automation technologies and industry best practices.
- Analyze sales data and market trends to evaluate the effectiveness of sales strategies and propose adjustments as needed.
- Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and performance analyses for management review.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to sales activities and provide actionable insights to improve sales performance.
Candidate:
- Degree / Diploma in Engineering. MBA is a plus.
- Proven track record in sales within the industrial automation sector, particularly in serving automotive clients.
- Deep understanding of industrial automation technologies, robotics, PLC systems, and related solutions.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Strong leadership abilities with experience in leading and motivating a sales team.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients, partners, and internal teams.
- Results-driven mindset with a focus on achieving and exceeding sales targets.
- Familiarity with CRM software and sales analytics tools.
- Willingness to travel extensively to meet clients and attend industry events.
