Roles and Responsibilities:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales Manager and Sales Engineer to lead our sales efforts in the industrial automation sector, primarily focusing on the automotive industry. The Sales Manager / Engineer will play a key role in driving business growth, establishing and nurturing client relationships, and achieving sales targets. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of industrial automation technologies, a proven track record in sales within the automotive sector, and excellent leadership skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Development:
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the automotive industry, specifically related to industrial automation solutions.
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to expand the client base and increase revenue.
  • Conduct market research to identify industry trends, customer needs, and competitive offerings.
Client Relationship Management:
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients in the automotive sector.
  • Understand client requirements and collaborate with the technical team to propose customized automation solutions.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing their inquiries, providing technical support, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Sales and Negotiation:
  • Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals tailored to the specific needs of automotive clients.
  • Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing structures with clients to secure profitable deals.
  • Close sales and achieve or exceed revenue targets within specified timelines.
Team Collaboration:
  • Collaborate closely with the technical and engineering teams to align sales strategies with the capabilities of our industrial automation solutions.
  • Communicate client feedback and project requirements effectively to ensure successful project implementation.
  • Foster a collaborative and positive working relationship with colleagues and clients alike.
Market Analysis:
  • Stay updated about advancements in industrial automation technologies and industry best practices.
  • Analyze sales data and market trends to evaluate the effectiveness of sales strategies and propose adjustments as needed.
Sales Reporting:
  • Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and performance analyses for management review.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to sales activities and provide actionable insights to improve sales performance.

Candidate:
  • Degree / Diploma in Engineering. MBA is a plus.
  • Proven track record in sales within the industrial automation sector, particularly in serving automotive clients.
  • Deep understanding of industrial automation technologies, robotics, PLC systems, and related solutions.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Strong leadership abilities with experience in leading and motivating a sales team.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients, partners, and internal teams.
  • Results-driven mindset with a focus on achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  • Familiarity with CRM software and sales analytics tools.
  • Willingness to travel extensively to meet clients and attend industry events.
