Key Responsibilities

  • Develop comprehensive training programs and materials tailored to various roles within the Healthcare RCM process, including billing specialists, denials, AR Follow up and complex claims.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) to gather and validate training content, ensuring accuracy and relevance to current industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Implement and manage training schedules, ensuring timely delivery of programs to new hires and ongoing training for existing staff.
  • Conduct training sessions using a variety of formats, such as classroom instruction, webinars, e-learning modules, and workshops, adapting methods to meet the diverse learning styles of employees.
  • Assess training effectiveness through evaluations, feedback mechanisms, and performance metrics, making continuous improvements to enhance learning outcomes.
  • Serve as a mentor and coach to training staff, providing guidance on instructional techniques, content development, and delivery methodologies.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, changes in regulations, and advancements in healthcare technology that impact the RCM process, integrating new knowledge into training programs.
  • Collaborate with HR, operational leaders and quality POC's to identify training needs, succession planning opportunities, and career development paths within the organization.
  • Maintain training records and documentation in compliance with organizational policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Onboarding new clients and ensuing all training related activities like Training SOP, Certification Process, Process Map etc are closed as per timeline
  • In-depth (at proficiency level) understanding of Denials, AR Follow ups and exposure to Appeals.

Training Program Design, Training Delivery, Curriculum Development, Assessment and Evaluation, Coaching and Feedback, Question bank creation

Leadership and Management Skills:
Team Leadership, Delegation, Conflict resolution, Decision making & Time management.

Communication Skills:
Effective Communication, Active Listening,

Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills:
Data Analysis, Project Management, Conflict management

Technology Skills:
Familiarity with training applications, learning management systems (LMS), MS Office (Excel, Work, PowerPoint) and other relevant technology tools

Project Management:
Project Planning & resource allocation

Understanding of healthcare billing practices:
Strong understanding of healthcare billing practices, revenue cycle workflows, and regulatory compliance (e.g., HIPAA, Medicare/Medicaid guidelines).

Transition of new process:
Need to be aware of new process transition and should be able to onboard new client

Content development:
Proven experience in designing and delivering effective training programs using instructional design methodologies. Need to be familiar with application like Articulate, Storyboarding, captivate etc
