Hiring for Modular Furniture Line ManagerFactory (Nehroli)Reports to: GMDepartment: Production (Modular/Board Furniture Office Furniture dominant)Timing from 8 am to 6 PMRole MissionOwn the endtoend delivery of the Modular (Board) Furniture linefrom designvalidation and DFM to firstarticle approval, mass production, qualitycontrol, ontime dispatch, and snag closurewith tight daily reporting and zerosurprise execution.Scope of ControlProcesses: Beam saw Edge banding Drilling/Routing Hot/Cold PressSubassembly Final assembly Packing QC DispatchProducts: Workstations, desks, storage, partitions, meeting tables, pedestals,office panelsTeams: Line supervisors, operators, helpers, inprocess QC, packers (all shifts)Key Responsibilities (EndtoEnd Ownership)Design & DFM ValidationRun Design Validation (DV) Gate: verify fit, form, function, stability,and fastener logic; confirm hardware spec and alternates (with R&D).validate panel sizes, EB thickness, drilling coordinates.Approve BOM & routing signoff golden sample and FAI (firstarticle inspection) with QC.Industrialization & Change ControlFreeze process plan (fixtures/jigs, templates, drill programs, EBsettings).Maintain ECO (engineering change order) discipline; ensure versioncontrol across drawings, BOM, and labels.Production Planning & Delivery DatesConvert sales/dispatch plan to weekly & daily MPS with PPC;publish committed delivery dates.Balance loads across machines and shifts; ensure >85% machineuptime and takt adherence.Quality Control & ComplianceDefine inprocess checkpoints (cutting, EB, drilling, assembly,packing).Enforce spec sheets (gaps/flushness, squareness, finish, torquevalues, cycle times).Close NCRs within SLA; drive CAPA and recurrence prevention.Ensure packing integrity and drop/transport tests as applicable.People & Daily Management SystemUpskill operators (toolbox talks, SOP refreshers); manage overtimeand skills matrix.Enforce 5S + safety; perform weekly audits with Maintenance & QA.Reporting & ReviewsDaily: output vs plan, RFT (rightfirsttime), rework/rejects, downtime,shortages, NCR/CAPA status.Weekly: OEE, productivity, yield, cost/variance, ontime dispatch %,open snags list with ETA.Snag Management (ZeroDefect Mindset)Maintain Snag Register (by project/store/customer).Assign owners and ETAs; ensure sitefeedback closure 5 workingdays.Run rootcause reviews for repeating snags; roll corrective actionsinto SOPs.Maintenance & ToolingExecute PM calendar (beam saw, EB, drill, press) with Maintenance.Maintain critical spares and tooling life logs; prevent stockouts.Escalate breakdowns; protect schedule with alternate routing whenneeded.MustHave Skills & Experience812 years in modular/office furniture (board)Strong in DFM, cutlists, routing, fixtures/jigs, and tolerance management forcasegoods.Proven production planning &  line balancing; OEE/OLE, yield improvement.Expert in inprocess QC, FAI, NCR/CAPA, and packaging QA.Leadership: builds discipline, escalates early, communicates crisply.If you are interested send me your updated CV @
