Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Tele-Sales / Internal Sales Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will manage allocated key accounts and handle enquiries from the sales team — ensuring smooth coordination between clients, vendors, and operations. This role involves handling the full cycle from enquiry and costing to quotation, execution, and payment follow-up.
A strong background in freight forwarding, shipping, and logistics is essential, with the ability to manage customer communication professionally and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage all allocated key accounts and ensure prompt communication and service delivery.
Handle incoming enquiries from clients and the sales team, ensuring timely response.
Prepare costing and quotations in coordination with the pricing and operations teams.
Liaise with clients and vendors for shipment planning, execution, and updates.
Support the sales team in end-to-end shipment coordination and documentation.
Follow up for client payments and ensure timely vendor settlements.
Maintain updated records of quotations, shipments, and correspondence.
Work closely with internal departments to ensure operational and service excellence.
Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling logistics services.
Requirements:
5–10 years of experience in Freight Forwarding / Shipping / Logistics.
Strong understanding of freight operations, documentation, and pricing.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and coordination skills.
Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with freight management systems.
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
DG (Dangerous Goods) certification is an added advantage.
Customer-focused with a proactive approach and strong attention to detail.
