GM Sales and Business Development

Responsibilities:To oversee the sales team and overall management ofthe business's sales operations.To maximize the sales team potential, to generateleads, build client relationships, set targets to achieve or exceed revenueforecasts.To meet customer acquisition and revenue growthtargets by developing & executing strategies.To review and analyze sales and operational recordsand reports; use data to forecast, determine profitability and targets, andidentify potential new markets.To collaborate with executive leadership to developsales plans and implement effective strategies.To coordinate account resources, projects, andtimelines with internal stakeholders.To manage existing customer relationships and contactnew customers to discuss their needs, and how they could be met by specificproducts and services.To establish long -term customer relationships withstrategically important accounts to influence opportunities to achieve thesales objectives/targets.To seek opportunities for increased revenue viaup -selling and cross -selling through additional product lines, features, andservices.To execute contracts with new customers and managecontract renewals with existing customers through effective negotiation ofterms, conditions, pricing, and commitments that enhance profitability andbusiness relationship with customers.To keep the account receivables under check with lessthan 15% Past due & DSO less than 45 days. Assisting finance in obtainingfull and timely payment from customers where necessary. RequirementsKnowledge & Skills:Excellent communication, interpersonal, andorganizational skills.Ability to influence at varying levels across theorganization.Ability to handle multiple priorities and navigate ina highly matrixed environment.Strong understanding of the territory and marketlandscape.Strong decision -making abilities, problem solvingskills and negotiation skills.Project management and strategic account planningskills.Ability to motivate and lead a highly driven, resultsoriented team.Possess a high level of energy and integrity.
