Department: Training and Placement

Role: Jr. Placement Officer and Placement officer

Job Overview:

The Placement Officer is responsible for building industry connections, coordinating placement and internship activities, andpreparing students for recruitment. The role involves organizing drives, guiding students through career readiness, maintaining placement data, and ensuring smooth communication between companies and the institution.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Industry & Company Relations:

  2. Develop relationships with companies, recruiters, and industry leaders.

  3. Facilitate internships and final placement opportunities.

  4. Placement Activities:

  5. Plan and conduct campus drives, job fairs, and interviews.

  6. Coordinate on-campus and off-campus recruitment events.

  7. Student Training & Preparation:

  8. Organize sessions on aptitude, soft skills, resume writing, GD, and interviews.

  9. Provide counseling and mentoring to improve student readiness.

  10. Data & Documentation:

  11. Maintain placement records, company databases, and recruiter feedback.

  12. Manage documentation including offer letters, MoUs, and consent forms.

  13. Internship Coordination:

  14. Facilitate internship opportunities aligned with academic and industry needs.

  15. Reporting & Alumni Engagement:

  16. Prepare placement reports and analytics.

  17. Engage alumni for mentoring, networking, and job opportunities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's/Master's in Business, HR, Education, or related fields.
  • Experience in placements, HR, or career services preferred.
  • Experience in educational institutions, training academies, or EdTech sectors.
  • Proficiency in organizing events such as placement drives, seminars, and training sessions.
