Primary Function

  • Code Craftsmanship: Write reusable, testable, and efficient code, adhering to high standards for quality and documentation.
  • API & Service Development: Design, build, and deploy scalable REST APIs and backend services, focusing on performance and security.
  • GenAI Integration: Research and implement Generative AI models and Large Language Models (LLMs) to create intelligent and innovative systems.
  • Data Engineering & Analysis: Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines. Integrate various data storage solutions (SQL, NoSQL, S3), interpret complex datasets, and create compelling visualizations to communicate findings.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with product, and other engineering teams to translate end-user requirements into technical solutions and implement new software features.
  • Problem Solving: Apply exceptional analytical and troubleshooting skills to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues in a timely manner.

Core Qualifications

  • Experience: 6-8 years of professional experience in the full software development lifecycle.
  • Python Proficiency: Solid, hands-on coding experience in Python.
  • Computer Science Fundamentals: A deep and practical understanding of Data Structures, Algorithms, and Software Design Patterns.
  • Version Control: Proficiency with Git or other distributed version control systems.
  • Analytical Mindset: Excellent analytical, debugging, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Java Knowledge: Basic understanding of Java concepts and syntax.
  • Testing: Familiarity with testing tools and a commitment to Test-Driven Development (TDD) principles.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.

Good to have

  • Generative AI: Experience with frameworks like LangChain, Google ADK/Autogen, or direct experience with APIs from OpenAI, Google (Gemini), or other LLM providers.
  • Web Stacks: Strong knowledge of Python web frameworks like Flask or FastAPI, Celery etc.
  • Data Engineering: Hands-on experience with NumPy, Pandas/Polars, data pipeline tools (e.g., Apache Spark, Kafka), and visualization.
  • Databases: Proficiency with both SQL (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (e.g., MongoDB, Elasticsearch, Redis) databases.
  • DevOps & Cloud: Experience with AWS (including EC2, Lambda, EKS/ECS), Docker, and CI/CD best practices and pipelines (e.g., GitLab CI).
  • Operating Systems: Good working knowledge of programming in a UNIX/Linux environment.

FinTech Domain: Prior experience or interest in the financial technology sector is a plus.
