Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify quality gaps, reduce defect leakage, and improve release velocity. Establish and monitor KPIs for the QE function, including automation coverage, defect trends, and release stability. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. 10+ years of industry experience in software testing and automation, with at least 2+ years in a leadership/managerial role. Strong expertise in test automation frameworks (Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, Appium, JUnit, TestNG, PyTest, etc.). Hands-on experience in programming/scripting (Java, Python, JavaScript, or similar). Proven track record in testing SaaS-based enterprise products (preferably in large-scale, data-intensive domains). Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure) and CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, CircleCI, etc.). Familiarity with modern AI-assisted development tools, such as Cursor or similar, to accelerate automation/coding workflows. Exposure to performance testing, security testing, and test data management. Excellent people management, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
